Pearl Dental accredited by British Bite Mark
Pearl Dental Ceramics dental laboratory has recently joined the British Bite Mark campaign.
The campaign, run by the Dental Laboratories Association, recognises that Pearl Dental’s custom made appliances are manufactured in the UK by dental technicians registered with the General Dental Council. This also means that all of the materials which the dental laboratory uses are CE marked and comply with strict General Dental Council (GDC) and Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency regulations (MHRA).
In a statement published on its website, Pearl Dental said that while it recognised that some dental practices are looking to cut costs, cheap restorations are often outsourced to the Far East where they are made from unknown materials by unqualified personnel.
The statement continued: “We are committed to providing you with consistently high quality restorations using the best materials available made by our qualified staff. We look forward to working as part of your dental team and continuing to promote clinically compliant, professionally produced British dental technology.”
